Zalika Gardner is the co-founder and Director of Learning for KairosPDX Early Learning Center. After teaching in Los Angeles Public Schools, Zalika spent 13 years at the Catlin Gabel School and two years teaching and consulting for the Opal School at the Portland Children’s Museum. Zalika is currently a school improvement specialist for Portland Public Schools. She has a passion for child development, literacy and historical perspectives, having spent the last 10 years facilitating a variety of equity experiences for children, families and educators.
